The international show jumping competition CAVALIADA and the World Cup Central European League Final will be held on March 11-14, 2021 at TAURON Arena Krakow.

The Royal City of Krakow will turn into the international show jumping capital for the third time. CSI2*-W and CSI1* competitions will attract the best competitors from Poland and Europe. Sports emotions at the highest level will be ensured by the final of the World Cup Central European League. For competitors who are fighting for points and promotion to the World Cup Final, which will take place at the turn of March and April in Gothenburg, Krakow is the last and most important stop in the fight for a dream come true. It is during CAVALIADA that we will see the three best competitors in our league who will qualify for the finals.

- The talks undertaken five years ago with the City of Krakow and the Sports Infrastructure Management Board in Krakow have resulted in a phenomenal sports event at a global level, despite the increased organisational requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to mutual openness, setting common goals and very good cooperation, for three years we have been consistently increasing the sports rank of CAVALIADA Krakow − starting in the first year with a two-star competition, through including the Krakow competition in the World Cup in the second edition, and ending with this year's World Cup Central European League Final. We are very happy that the City of Krakow and CAVALIADA benefit from this cooperation every year − says Filip Bittner, Vice President of the Management Board of Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie and Chairman of the CAVALIADA Tour Organising Committee.

- We are glad that our efforts have paid off and despite the epidemic, CAVALIADA Kraków will also be held this year. Thanks to the excellent cooperation with the organisers, Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie, for the third time in a row the best competitors from this part of Europe, as well as young equestrian adepts, will compete in TAURON Arena Krakow. The importance of the Krakow edition of CAVALIADA increases every year. It is certainly not without significance that the event organised in our city was well received by participants and the equestrian community, and they unanimously consider this course as the best in the country. We are very pleased to hear this. We hope that the situation related to the pandemic will improve and at least a limited number of horse riding enthusiasts will appear on the stands of our hall, while maintaining the sanitary regime − says Krzysztof Kowal, Director of the Sports Infrastructure Board in Krakow, on behalf of the Municipality of Krakow responsible for co-organisation of the event in the capital of Małopolska.

The CAVALIADA program in Krakow will guarantee fans a lot of sports emotions. All large-round competitions will count towards the World Cup Central European League at the same time. The first one will be held on Thursday (145 cm, speed competition), the second one on Friday (150 cm, with jump-off), and the third one on Sunday as part of the Grand Prix (155 cm, with jump-off). Friday's big round and Sunday's Grand Prix will also be competitions included in the ranking of the International Equestrian Federation.

The four-time Polish Champion, Jarosław Skrzyczyński, has a very good chance of promotion. The representative of the Agro-Handel Śrem club has 35 points on his account. He scored 20 points by winning the Grand Prix in Budapest on Chacco Amicor. His biggest rivals are Andrius Petrovas from Lithuania (37 points), Kristaps Neretnieks from Latvia (32 points) and Paul-Richard Argus from Estonia (30 points).

CAVALIADA is not only a sports event of the highest level, but also entertainment competitions adored by the audience. Also now, there will be Potęga Skoku or Speed&Music, relay race and CAVALIADA Future competitions (children on ponies) as well as two-horse carriage driving. For less experienced competitors, the organiser has prepared a "Special Round" with competitions at the level of 110-115 cm.

The most important competitions will be available on TVP Sport, and an online broadcast will also be available on the organiser's website www.cavaliada.pl.
